VSUBM BSEU at the International Conference Dedicated to the 30th Anniversary of the Institute of Business of BSU

Representatives of the Higher School of Management and Business of the Belarusian State Economic University took an active part in the International Scientific and Practical Conference "Business. Education. Economy," dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Institute of Business of BSU. This large-scale event in the field of business education, held on April 9–10, brought together over 150 representatives from leading educational institutions, enterprises, and research centers.

Close partnership ties have connected the Institute of Business of BSU throughout its development with the Higher School of Management and Business of BSEU. Since their establishment (VSUBM BSEU in 1993, IB BSU in 1996), these two educational centers of the country's leading universities have taken leading positions in the formation of a national system of business education under the auspices of the Ministry of Economy and the Ministry of Education. One of the important results of this process was the granting by the Ministry of Economy in November 2024 of the status of a business school not only to the Institute of Business of BSU, but also to the Belarusian State Economic University.

The plenary session of the conference was opened with a report by the Dean of VSUBM BSEU, Sergei Yuryevich Krichevsky, titled "History, Current State and Directions for the Development of Business Education in the Republic of Belarus." Presentations on the current issues of the development of the higher education system were delivered by representatives of RANEPA under the President of the Russian Federation, Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University, and leading universities of our country.
