BSEU took part in festive events dedicated to the Day of the State Flag, State Emblem and National Anthem of the Republic of Belarus

On May 11, the country celebrated the Day of the National Flag, National Emblem and National Anthem of the Republic of Belarus.

The delegation of BSEU headed by the rector Alexey Vladimirovich EGOROV and the vice-rector for ideological and educational work Sergey Ivanovich SKRIBA took part in festive events.

Seven representatives from the regions took the oath of allegiance to the Motherland in the Belarusian language. The Prime Minister of Belarus Alexander Turchin, government officials, youth and city residents also took part.

About 700 students and youth carried the National Flag, 500 m long, 9 m wide and weighing over 400 kg, along the capital's Pobediteley Avenue.

Over 5 thousand people took part in the event, including representatives of youth, military-patriotic classes (clubs), public associations, work collectives, cadets and military personnel.
