Dive into business at the VSHUB project!

A fascinating meeting of BGEU students and postgraduates with a representative of a successful international corporation took place on May 13, in the format of a practice-oriented educational project of the faculty of the Higher School of Management and Business (VSHUB) - "Dive into business!" The guest of students and postgraduates of the specialty "World Economy" was a well-known specialist in the field of international trade in pharmaceutical products, project manager of a number of successful international companies - Elena Leonidovna Kasyanenko.

She spoke about her experience as a manager of the representative office of GlaxoSmithKline Limited Export LLC in the Republic of Belarus, analyzed, in an active dialogue with students, the specifics of the work of world leaders of the pharmaceutical industry in the drug market of our country. The speaker demonstrated on real examples the techniques of applied business analysis used by trans-national corporations when developing a strategy for competitive behavior in national markets.

The participants discussed with interest the key aspects of developing the national market of Belarus, in the context of the exceptionally high requirements of our state for the quality of medicines, as well as the systemic policy of protecting domestic producers, and mitigating the consequences of sanctions pressure on Belarus. The speaker answered the audience's questions in detail and very professionally.

Let us recall that the dean's office of the faculty of the HSE has been implementing the project "Dive into Business" for the seventh year in a row. Within the framework of this project, its participants - students and masters of the HSE, one of the leading centers of business education in Belarus, are given the opportunity to directly communicate with the organizers and managers of successful businesses, consultants and economic analysts, as well as representatives of government agencies that contribute to the creation of an optimally favorable business environment in our country.

During the existence of this educational project, among the invited speakers who generously shared with BGEU students their experience of successful organization and innovative renewal of business processes at the national, regional and local levels were representatives of the Ministry of Economy, the Ministry of Finance, the National Bank, the High-Tech Park, the Great Stone Industrial Park, the Business Union of Entrepreneurs and Employers, the largest national companies, international corporations, small and medium-sized enterprises of Minsk.
