Representatives of BSEU took part in the "Science Festival - 2025"

On September 6, a bright and large-scale event - "Science Festival - 2025" - took place in the Central Botanical Garden of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus. This is the largest popular science forum in the country, uniting scientists, students, teachers and everyone interested in science and its impact on modern life.
The festival is traditionally aimed at a wide audience. Its goal is to show how scientific research improves the quality of life, what horizons it opens up for a person and why science is not only laboratories, but also creativity and inspiration. The opening of the event was a real show: instead of the usual ribbon cutting, it was frozen in liquid nitrogen and ceremoniously broken to the applause of the audience.
The Chairman of the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus V.S. Karanik noted:
"These are bright experiments, interesting experiments, this is creativity. It is gratifying that the event is organized by the Council of Young Scientists. And this is proof that Belarusian science has a future - talented and purposeful."
Among the guests of the festival were pilot-cosmonaut Oleg Novitsky, the first Belarusian female cosmonaut Marina Vasilevskaya, Vice-Rector of Lomonosov Moscow State University Leonid Gusev. The event was also attended by First Deputy Minister of Education of Belarus Alexander Bakhanovich and Head of the Department of Science and Innovation Activity Petr Pekutko.

The Belarusian State University of Economics traditionally takes an active part in the festival. This year, representatives of BSEU presented a number of innovative projects:
Students of the Faculty of Marketing and Logistics Ya.P. Duben and L.V. Krilenko, under the guidance of assistant S.L. Trishina, presented the Green Passport application - an environmental initiative with elements of gamification.
Students of the Faculty of Digital Economy Ya.D. Dorokhovich and A.A. Ivanova developed the application "MATULYA" - a digital diary for a child with recommendations, a calendar and shared access for parents and specialists.
Gurinovich I.V. and Polyanovsky T.A. demonstrated an AI agent - a chat bot capable of clarifying requests to neural networks and helping in making economic decisions. Graduate student V.G. Pisarik participated in the development (scientific supervisor - professor V.Yu. Shutilin).

BSEU teachers and students prepared a series of intellectual games:
"In the World of Political Science" - author, head of the Department of Political Science O.G. Kazak.
"Quiz at ease" - a quiz in English from teacher D.E. Samusevich.
"The World of Economics" - an interactive game from students of the Faculty of International Economic Relations.
The games aroused keen interest among the festival guests, allowing everyone to feel like part of the scientific process. The festival screens showed presentation videos of the BSEU faculties and popular science films dedicated to university projects - "Youth along the Roads of History", "Legal Education" and others.
As part of the festival, a meeting was held between the Vice-Rector for Research of BGEU, Doctor of Economics, Professor A.A. Bykov and L.V. Gusev, Vice-Rector of Moscow State University and Director of the All-Russian Festival SCIENCE 0+. They discussed the prospects for international scientific cooperation.
"The Science Festival" is not just an event, but a platform where everyone can touch big science, communicate with outstanding scientists and find inspiration. Representatives of BSEU once again proved that science is a living, dynamic process in which there is a place for both ideas and people.
