Wishing you success in your studies, new recruits of the Higher School of Management and Business!

On September 26, an organizational meeting was held for newly admitted students to the Faculty of Higher School of Management and Business (HSMB), who were to study in the distance and part-time, shortened programs based on their higher education.

It is important to note that HSMB is the largest and most respected faculty in our country for training students with a higher education in economics and law. It accounts for 88% of the second higher education segment in economics and law, as well as 87% of distance learning in these fields of higher education. A questionnaire survey revealed that 56% of students considered HSMB as the only option for their further education. Moreover, 72% cited the faculty's high reputation as the main reason for their choice.

The current academic intake is distinguished by the high educational and professional level of its students. Thirty-two percent of new applicants already hold a higher education in economics, 20% hold a higher education in engineering, 12% hold a higher education in teaching, and 8% hold a higher education in law.

Most first-year students at the Higher School of Management (HSBM) are mid-level managers, those who define the functional foundation of any organization and its key talent pool. They account for 32% of the student body, 24% are leading functional specialists, and 8% are company owners and top managers. Among their academic priorities (and respondents could choose several areas they considered most important), 40% indicated a need to deepen their knowledge in business law, 36% in accounting and management analysis, 24% in financial analysis, 20% in human resources management, 16% in strategic management, 15% in operational production management, 14% in economic psychology methods, and 8% in the use of IT in business organization.

The students were addressed by the Dean of the Higher School of Business Administration, S. Yu. Krichevsky, as well as leading specialists L. Yu. Buglak and S. V. Glubokaya. They welcomed the new students and informed them about the organization of the educational process in distance and distance learning formats, as well as the norms of social life at BSEU.

We wish the first-year students of the Higher School of Economics (HSUB) successful realization of their creative plans and academic priorities as they pursue higher education at BSEU, the leading economic university in Belarus.
