A semester at KubSU: the story of a student from BSEU

Milana Teshko, a third-year student in the Faculty of Social Sciences and Economics at the Belarusian State University of Economics, is studying at Kuban State University as part of an academic mobility program.
Milana is currently studying in the Faculty of Management and Psychology at Kuban State University, majoring in Political Science. The program lasts one semester, and she felt supported from the very first day: "My classmates are very friendly and open; they helped me quickly get into the rhythm of the classroom and feel like part of the team."
According to the student, Kuban University has created all the necessary conditions for comfortable living and studying. "The dormitory is located next to the academic building, which is very convenient, and the curriculum closely matches my core curriculum, which facilitates the learning process." Milana also noted the differences in teaching approaches: "The educational process at Kuban State University is organized a little differently, but this allows you to see familiar things in a new way."
The exchange program became a true point of personal growth for the student: "This is a unique opportunity to expand my knowledge and skills and learn from colleagues from the Russian Federation. I value the high level of teaching and professionalism at Kuban State University. Informative lectures and engaging seminars allow me to unlock my potential both here and abroad."
In her second week of study, Milana Teshko spoke on behalf of BSEU, telling KubSU students about academic mobility opportunities. "I am confident that this is only the beginning of my journey at Kuban State University, and I strive to represent my home university with dignity," she shared.
Concluding the interview, Milana addressed her peers: "We live in a time when all the conditions for self-realization, discovering new horizons, and receiving high-quality education have been created for young people. I advise every student who has the opportunity to participate in such programs and projects to take advantage of it. Don't be afraid to step out of your comfort zone—it's a tremendous experience that promotes global thinking, communication skills, and, of course, building international connections."
