BSEU Students Among Winners and Prize-Winners of the 5th International Financial Security Olympiad

From September 29 to October 3, the finals of the 5th International Financial Security Olympiad were held in Krasnoyarsk, Russian Federation, hosted by Siberian Federal University. The Olympiad brought together over 600 finalists from 40 countries, demonstrating a high level of professional knowledge and practical skills in economics, finance, and law.

Following the competition, 188 participants were awarded winner and prize-winner diplomas.
Belarus was represented at the Olympiad by a strong student team, coordinated by the Financial Monitoring Department of the State Control Committee.

The Belarusian State University of Economics was represented by four students, three of whom became winners and one a prize-winner:

Tatiana Ivanyuk – winner in the "Economics" category;
Yana Efimchik won the "Economics" category;
Anastasia Lazarenko won the "Jurisprudence" category;
Vladislav Minkevich won the "Economics" category.

Our students' achievements are convincing evidence of the high level of training of future specialists and the competitiveness of Belarusian education on the international stage.

The final stage of the Olympiad included over 100 events, including professional and educational tracks, master classes, discussions, meetings with experts, and business games.

Practical master classes, including those on the GRAFUS system, were of particular interest, as were dialogue platforms where participants could directly interact with financial and legal experts, exchange experiences, and ask relevant questions.

The Olympiad also featured exhibitions from leading Russian banks, where participants learned about opportunities to enroll in specialized universities, complete internships, and build a career in the financial sector.

An equally highlight was a tour of Krasnoyarsk, which allowed participants to learn about the region's culture and history.

"The Olympiad isn't just a knowledge test, but also an opportunity to exchange ideas, connect with like-minded individuals, and grow professionally. We are proud to have represented our university and our country with dignity," the BSEU team members shared.

BSEU traditionally actively participates in events aimed at developing international cooperation and students' professional competencies.
