Alexey Savvateev's Lecture at BSEU: An Introduction to Game Theory

On October 8, as part of the International Scientific Conference—School-Seminar "System Modeling of Socioeconomic Processes" named after Academician S.S. Shatalin—BSEU hosted a lecture by Alexey Vladimirovich Savvateev, "An Introduction to Game Theory."

Alexey Vladimirovich is a popularizer of science, professor at Adyghe State University, Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology, and Innopolis University, and chief researcher at the Central Economics and Mathematics Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences. He is known for his ability to express complex ideas in simple terms.

Profesor presented an accessible and engaging presentation to students on how mathematics helps analyze behavioral strategies in a wide variety of areas. Participants explored real-world problems and learned about classical game-theoretic models.
