Entrepreneurship Week at the Faculty of Economics and Management

The Belarusian Entrepreneurship Week at the Faculty of Economics and Management turned into a true celebration of ideas, discussions, and practice. Students and faculty had a unique opportunity to meet with business leaders, government representatives, and innovation experts.

One of the key events was the roundtable discussion "From Talent to Tech Business: How to Build an Effective National Innovation Ecosystem in Belarus." The discussion was joined by faculty leadership and representatives of the industrial park, technology parks, design organizations, and the technology transfer center. The discussion was rich: they discussed how to support youth startups, what measures can help students and postgraduates become more actively involved in innovation, and how the university can serve as a bridge between business and government.

Equally significant was the dialogue platform "On the Opportunities and Prospects for the Development of Youth Entrepreneurship in Belarus." Here, students heard the opinions of the Co-Chairman of the Board and Director of the Business Union of Entrepreneurs and Employers named after Professor M.S. Kunyavsky, Deputy Director for Development of the Union, Director of the Local Sustainable Development Fund "Innovations for Regions," General Director of ZAO MAP ZAO (small business incubator), and Chief Specialist of the Corporate Business Department of JSC ASB Belarusbank.

And to ensure that theory wasn't just talk, the students participated in a master class hosted by the manufacturing company SETGOU. Using specific examples, company representatives demonstrated how small businesses are developing in Belarus, the challenges they face, and the solutions that help overcome them.
