Results of the XV International Student Scientific and Practical Conference «The World in the 21st Century: Economic, Political, and Sociocultural Aspects»

On November 27, the XV International Student Scientific and Practical Conference «The World in the 21st Century: Economic, Political, and Sociocultural Aspects» was held at BSEU.

For the 15th time, «The World in the 21st Century» brings together young people to explore and find solutions to economic, political, and sociocultural problems!

This year, representatives from Belarus, Russia, China, and other countries participated in the conference, demonstrating the high interest of students in research activities.

BSEU Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Olga Anatolyevna Morozevich and Dean of the Faculty of Medical and Biological Culture Elena Aleksandrovna Malashenko delivered welcoming remarks in English, noting the importance of the conference for students' study of foreign languages ​​and wishing them productive work. Representatives of BSEU's partner universities also participated in the opening plenary session: Olga Vladimirovna Glukhova, Deputy Dean for Research at the Faculty of Linguistics and Journalism at RSUE, and Chen Runyan, Senior Lecturer at the Institute of Foreign Languages ​​at Hexi University (China). At the plenary session, which marked the anniversary of the conference, faculty members from the BSEU Department of German and Romance Languages ​​presented their papers in French by Marina Anatolyevna Komarova, Senior Lecturer at the Department Elena Gennadyevna Salikova, and Spanish by Associate Professor Angel Mujica Lohengrin.

During the plenary session, student papers were presented in English, Chinese, Russian as a foreign language, French, Spanish, and German. Following the event, in-person section meetings were held in the auditoriums of BSEU.

tudents from BSEU, BSTU, GNTU, BSU, Ufa State University of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Belarus, and other universities, as well as guests from the St. Petersburg University of Management Technologies and Economics; students from Minsk Gymnasium No. 12 and the Minsk State College of Digital Technologies, attended:

Section 1. Current Vectors of Global Economic Development;
Section 2. The Socio-Cultural Environment of International Business;
Section 3. Socio-Political and Socio-Economic Development of Countries and Regions;
Section 4. Achievements and Prospects of the Digital Transformation of Society;
Section 5. Problems and Trends in the Formation of a Modern Linguo-Cultural Environment.

BSEU warmly welcomed the guests. The best presentations were awarded certificates and prizes. The conference provided participants with vibrant emotions, new acquaintances, and invaluable experience in presenting in a foreign language.
